PR, for Radio Play, New Media

If you are a label, management, band, or artist and are interested in a New Media Campaign, College Radio Campaign, Tour Promotion, or partnership, then please contact us.

Our PR department has worked alongside hundreds of bands from around the world. Specializing in New Media, College Radio, and Tour Promotions, we have gained recognition as one of the best PR companies in the world. Even though our PR department has gained international popularity among labels, management companies, production companies, as well as bands and artists themselves, we still maintain our reputation for lower rates, which many times are less than a quarter the price of other top PR companies basic fees.

Here is a rundown of our rates, all rates are final, there are no hidden or undisclosed fees unless you are a.) making an international bank transfer or b.) request or need us to create our own promotional copies of your disc:

PREMIER COLLEGE RADIO CAMPAIGN (U.S. Only)

-This is a 6 week campaign consisting of submission to 50-80 core college radio stations as well as 50-75 other large to mid-level stations across the country. This campaign increases your chances of charting on the CMJ Top 200 by allowing more options of charting on the Top 30 at each station. This will also generate more attention for you in areas that could otherwise be left out. 140,000 ISK

EXCLUSIVE COLLEGE RADIO CAMPAIGN (U.S. Only)

-This is an 8 week campaign consisting of submission to 50-80 core college radio stations as well as 175-250 other large to mid-level stations across the country. This campaign will pair you with nearly every weekly-reporting college radio station in the U.S. This campaign also presents you with the highest probability of charting on the CMJ Top 200. Chances are that you will easily be heard by literally millions of listeners throughout the country, by standard radio or over the internet (most large to mid-level stations allow listeners to hear the radio station online). 280,000 ISK

TOUR PROMOTIONS

-Tour promotion entails working alongside college, AAA, non-commercial, internet and public radio stations. We are also connected with hundreds of publications, journalists, and bloggers around the country, who we will seek to recognize and bring attention to your shows through write-ups, both physical and digital. Our tour promotions have proven to be effective in a wide spectrum of genres, from bluegrass to metal to indie, etc. 5000 ISK per show (3 show minimum)

NEW MEDIA CAMPAIGN

-This is a 6 week campaign and is a very important and beneficial campaign. The internet, along with college radio, has become the best way for independent artists to gain attention, hype, and buzz about their record(s). We are connected with hundreds of bloggers, websites, online music magazines, etc., across the U.S. and the rest of the world. It's always best if you, the artist, have some form of distribution, even if that only means digital distribution such as iTunes, Rhapsody, Napster, etc. Most of the time, these write-ups and reviews will link potential fans to a certain place online where albums can be purchased and/or downloaded. Another perk about this campaign is that, though it is officially a 6 week campaign, many submissions will take longer to get to, and your record(s) could be reviewed or written-up 12-15 weeks after you've started the campaign. And we will follow through on filling you in about these reviews, even after the campaign is over. We only require 20-25 hard copies of your album for this campaign, as much of it can be done digitally. 70,000 ISK

It is usually a good idea to run a radio campaign and a media campaign simultaneously to enhance your shot of having the most successful release of a new album or perhaps the revamping of an album that's already been available for a while. Here are the rates for running the campaigns parallel to each other:

CORE STATION COLLEGE RADIO CAMPAIGN + NEW MEDIA 150,000 ISK

PREMIER COLLEGE RADIO CAMPAIGN + NEW MEDIA 200,000 ISK

EXCLUSIVE COLLEGE RADIO CAMPAIGN + NEW MEDIA 340,000 ISK

HOW THE COLLEGE RADIO CAMPAIGNS WORK:

-We will begin by asking you to ship us a minimum of 50 hard copies of your disc for the CORE Campaign, 100 for the PREMIER Campaign, and 225 for the EXCLUSIVE Campaign. After careful review of the record we will then decide exactly how many stations we will be sending to. If the plan is to send to more than 50, 100, or 225 then we will make our own promo copies for you, free of charge. Though, if we are merely promoting a digital album or single, and you do not have physical copies, then there will be a small charge for creating our own promos.

-During that down time, while the shipping is taking place, we will ask you to send promotional photos, a bio, and any other information that you might consider important about the artist or band you're representing. We will also ask you for your choice of three featured songs to pass along to the radio stations. This being three songs you believe will get the best first response from the music directors or djs. Finally, we will need to know if any of the songs on the record have 'bad words'! This is necessary for fcc regulation purposes, and at times those words may pass us by while we're listening.

-Next comes the payment. Payment options will be discussed with each individual client when the time arrives. But we must receive payment, or in some cases, the first payment, before starting up our 'prep-work' for the campaign.

-Then comes the prep-work and getting the discs to the stations. Two to four weeks from the first shipping date is when the campaign begins. You will then receive weekly reports (reports are sometimes spaced out to 10 days in between time) for the next 6, sometimes 8 weeks.
